The Brief
ISL has been operating in the Washington DC area since 2006. During the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 the school changed to an online teaching model that proved so successful they decided to keep the format four years on.
Our goal was to redesign the old site completely to reflect the new virtual courses and present their language services in a clear and attractive way.
The Approach
We designed a homepage that made an impact. Easy to scroll sections introduced the new virtual format and teaching team, key FAQs were highlighted enabling students to quickly glean important course information, followed by recent reviews crucial for customer trust.
We added navigational tabs to inside course pages to provide a clear visual indication of available content and improved table data display to help enagage users with visual improvements that included teacher thumbnails and links to their profiles.
Course page layouts were further optimised for a cleaner, more minimalist user interface on small screen sizes, helping users navigate content to achieve their goals.
Corporate courses also had a much needed makeover. It was essential that companies be made fully aware of the value ISL can bring to their language programs. So with the help of emotive images we gently guided users through training and specialized programs before reaching a call to action (CTA) to motivate them to take real steps towards becoming a customer.
